The ASVOFF Festival in Barcelona

ASVOFF ( A shaded view on fashion film) is a festival about fashion on film.  Throughout its history, the event has been presented in cities around the world; Paris,  New York, Tokyo.... However this year, it will take place a little closer to home.  ASVOFF runs from the 24th to the 27th of January in the auditorium of the Caixaforum, in Barcelona. 
 
The festivals creator, Diane Pernet, a former journalist, fashion photographer and successful photographer from New York, aims to promote fashion through the use of moving images.  
 
The festival is divided into three categories, to which video entries are still being accepted:
 
Official: for fashion and film professionals
 
Students: for fashion and audiovisual students
 
Mobile: one-shot videos filmed on a mobile device, shot in sequence without editting. 
 
For those interested in submitting their work to one of the competitions, you have until December 1st.  You can find more information about the festival at the ASVOFF website.
