Elim Cheng, the creator of the work I need you to need me in the I/O/I. The senses of machines exhibition, visited the DHUB recently. The piece is a kind of alarm clock that has to be hugged in order to turn it off, exploring th idea that all people need to feel that they are needed.
Cheng had mentioned that she found it interesting the concept of a workshop and an integrated laboratory in an exhibition, a concept that has not yet been implemented by museums in Taiwan. She also talked about the work she continues to do on the piece I need you to need me.
