B03. Visual identity

As the following image explains, the graphic identity of Disseny Hub Barcelona comes from the idea of opening a museum, a place of knowledge and heritage that traditionally has always been closed to the outside.

As a result of this opening out, the centre is divided into four basic branches, its DNA, if you like: the museum, the scene, research and action. This generates a living space that is related with the outside world in many different ways.
01. The traditional idea of a museum, understood as a closed, hermetic space.
02. The opening out of the idea of a museum. The dispersal of its contents in an open space.
03. The creation of different operating mechanisms to accomplish the centre’s goals.
04. The result: DHUB, a design centre that is able to adopt a thousand different shapes.
