B02. Where is it?
Disseny Hub Barcelona is located in two temporary locations: DHUB Montcada (Carrer de Montcada, 12) and DHUB Pedralbes, in Palau de Pedralbes (Avinguda Diagonal, 686).
DHUB Montcada houses all temporary activities and the study galleries, as well as a reference centre.
DHUB Pedralbes hosts the permanent exhibition of the Museu de les Arts Decoratives entitled “From the one-off object to product design” and the permanent exhibition of the Museu Tèxtil i d’Indumentària “Dressing the body”. It also hosts the Gabinet de les Arts Gràfiques collection, which is open for specialists in the field to consult.
The opening of the permanent headquarters, to be located on Plaça de les Glòries, is set for 2011.

The DHUB Project and its Permanent Premises
Its permanent premises, scheduled to be completed in 2011, is a design project by the MBM team of architects (winners of the City Council’s 2001 Award), to be sited in the plaça de les Glòries.
The building will be in two sections –?a basement derived from the split levels generated by the remodelling of the square, and another parallelepiped section rising above street level.
The basement roof will form a public area, carpeted in sustainable, natural or artificial green elements designed for easy upkeep. It will include a lake connecting all building levels.
