The Thief with a Thousand Faces
Dynamized Tour

There have been five robberies in the city. The police suspect they were committed by a famous thief even though the descriptions given by witnesses are completely different. Do we have five thieves or only one? Come and help us solve the mystery!

In our investigation we will explore how clothing can modify the appearance of the body by using tricks that slim down or broaden the appearance of the body. Students will discover four basic methods that modify one's appearance using clothing: broadening, slimming, changing shape and unveiling.

Paricipants will also learn how to analyze situations by observing small details. We will discuss fashion and its influence in society and students will also reflect on the effect our external appearance and body image has in society and its effect on our well-being.

Workshop and Dynamized Tour

This activity introduces drawing as a tool to observe and understand works of art. The workshop will begin with a tour of the collection where we will observe the designs of fabrics used in dressmaking. We will observe motifs inspired by nature, geometry, symmetry or repetition creating a border. In the workshop, students will personalize a white t-shirt and will be encouraged to use designs that they have seen at the museum as inspiration or to invent something new.

*each student must bring their own white cotton t-shirt for the activity.

The Princess and The Pea

Can you imagine what the Princess’ bed is really like? Would you like to see it? Come to the museum to listen to a reading of the story and to see for yourself just how big her bed is and how small the pea is. Learn lots of new things about beds and take part in a workshop where you can make a mattress for the princess’ bed.

The memory of objects

Visit the museum and take part in an interactive activity. A museum teacher will utilize different materials in a game that stimulates interaction with different objects. After the workshop, students will participate in an educational activity related to the creative game.

In addition to visiting the exhibition, students can participate in a digital manufacturing workshop and experiment with these new technological tools that are used in the manufacture of objects.
